Thank you for bringing this up in such a very well put manner. It really clearly pin points something I haven't been able to put into words for awhile now. The comic is definitely a good message the fandom needs considering the atmosphere has been/will probably keep getting toxic when it comes to certain topics like this.

Hopefully your sister hasn't run into anything yet, I know i'd be sweating bullets every time she went on the computer and started typing in anything MLP related.

Sad thing is, it's not just MLP that's getting the adult fanbase treatment. You can only imagine what kids would find when typing Pokemon X into Google.

You are totally right. I know that feeling myself because I have a little sister and this is one of the reasons why I hate that kind of material (especially the R34 stuff... I mean seriously, they are equines not humans

) but the sad true is that we can't do nothing about that because it's the internet, and there will always be a lot of people who actually enjoy that kind of stuff and don't care if a little child watch it by mistake... in fact... some of them even want that to happen for their own sick enjoyment

This depresses me, a lot, you have no idea. I mean, yeah "it's the internet" but seriously, that still doesn't make it right that all of this is so readily available and so easily accessible that it becomes really scary. What was initially intended for a young audience was easily consumed by a dominant force that doesn't quite understand how the world works and how their actions have consequences. Doesn't help that a lot don't quite leave their house often.

I do understand that this isn't EVERYONE in the fandom, but since they're so obnoxious about r34 and anything else... it's just hard to not think that this is everyone without actually going any further. And why would you want to, some of these people want to fuck a small cartoon horse. What the hell?
